India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2024, Day 2 Update:  Telecom, smartphone manufacturing, chip production and AI startups showcased their latest technological advancements at the eighth edition of IMC ‘2024, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from October 15 to October 18.

The event was inaugurated by PM Modi on Tuesday! Where he addressed the capability of India to stand in the digital world. He said “Provide the world with a fully Made-in-India phone, from the chip to the finished product.” To this he further added “We are making significant investments to create a semiconductor ecosystem.”

The second day of the event started with the same enthusiastic and encouraging mode

With the renowned social media influencer and entrepreneur, Ankur Warikoo, who was seen delivering a ‘Masterclass’, where he shared his enriching insights on using the futuristic technological solutions to further develop personally for entrepreneurship and online presence building.

Additionally, prominent telecom companies, such as Airtel, BSNL, Jio, and Vodafone-Idea(Vi), also spoke at the event on Tuesday, informing the spectators on the augmentation of comprehensive AI strategies, data localization, auction-based satellite spectrum distribution, and enhanced spam/scam prevention measures.

Besides this, there has been more clarification of the Bharat 6G project and potential rollout by 2030 as well as more proficient upcoming 5G offers and its accessibility. Wrapping up Day 2 with the more astute vision of India becoming the paramount exporter of well-accepted telecom technologies.
